...The National Weather Service in Fort Worth TX has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  South Sulphur River Near Cooper affecting Delta and Hopkins
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING TO EARLY SUNDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...South Sulphur River near Cooper.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning to early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Minor out of bank flooding will occur. A
  few rural roads will begin to flood. Minor flooding will occur to
  farm and ranch land adjacent to the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 11.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow morning to a crest of 17.0 feet tomorrow
    evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday
    morning.
