The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Bell County in central Texas...

* Until midnight CDT tonight.

* At 1009 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly. Flooding on Nolan Creek may occur with this heavy
  rainfall.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Temple, Harker Heights, Belton, Nolanville, Morgan`s Point Resort,
  Troy, Belton Lake, Stillhouse Hollow Lake, White Hall, Woodland,
  Moffat, Pendleton, Owl Creek, Meadow Grove and Oscar.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
