...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON...

A combination of low humidity, warm temperatures, and gusty winds
this afternoon has resulted in near critical fire weather
conditions for portions of southeast South Dakota, northwest Iowa,
and northeast Nebraska. Use caution as any fire may spread
quickly. Conditions are expected to improve rapidly after sunset
when winds subside and humidity increases.
