Dakota...Iowa...
Big Sioux River near Bruce affecting Brookings County.
Big Sioux River near Estelline affecting Hamlin and Brookings
Counties.
Floyd River at Alton affecting Sioux and Plymouth Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding begins to affect the lower lying
agricultural lands along the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM CDT Thursday was 13.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is currently cresting as of Thursday
morning and is expected to fall below flood stage late this
evening and continue falling to 6.5 feet Tuesday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
