...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NAVAJO COUNTY UNTIL 515
AM MST...

At 432 AM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from over Heber-Overgaard to 7 miles
southeast of Red Top Mountain, or extending from 13 miles northeast
of Forest Lakes to 13 miles southwest of Show Low, moving northeast
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside, Pinedale, Clay Springs, Burke Mountain,
  Linden, Red Top Mountain, Aripine, Fool Hollow Lake, Ned Lake,
  Wagon Wheel, Show Low Regional Airport, Heber-Overgaard, Show Low
  Lake, Lake of the Woods, Rainbow Lake, Porter Mountain Outlook,
  Show Low City Park, Mogollon Airpark and Tall Timbers County Park.

This includes the following highways...
State Route 260 between mile markers 297 and 298...and between mile
markers 302 and 351. Highway 60 between mile markers 323 and 342.
State Route 377 between mile markers 0 and 5. State Route 277 between
mile markers 306 and 320. State Route 77 near mile marker 343.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
Scott Reservoir Campground, Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area
Campground, Lewis Canyon Group Campground, Lakeside Campground and
Tall Timbers County Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
