.DISCUSSION...Hot and mostly dry conditions are expected for today
with increasing chances for showers on Friday. Isolated showers and
thunderstorms will be possible between 1100-2000 MST on Friday. Gusty
outflow winds up to 30-35 mph and brief downpours will be the main
threats with these storms. Wetting rainfall looks to be unlikely. Minimum
RH values will be 15-25 percent each day, with fair overnight recoveries.
Outside of outflow winds, expect southwest winds 10-20 mph with gusts to
25-30 mph today, then 10-15 mph with gusts to 20-25 mph on Friday. Overnight
winds will be primarily light and terrain-driven.
