...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Paulding, eastern Carroll, southwestern Cobb, Douglas, northwestern
Coweta and southwestern Fulton Counties through 630 PM EDT...

At 600 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Fairplay, or 11 miles
east of Carrollton, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Douglasville, Carrollton, City of South Fulton, Villa Rica, Powder
Springs, Austell, Palmetto, Hiram, Whitesburg, Chattahoochee Hill,
Lithia Springs, Plant Yates, Brownsville, Bill Arp, Seaton Lake,
Fairplay, Dunaway Gardens, Clem, Winston, and Lake Val-Do-Mar.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
