Northeastern El Paso County in western Texas...
* Until 845 PM MDT.
* At 714 PM MDT, a dust channel was over Anthony, moving northeast at
35 mph.
HAZARD...Less than one half mile visibility with strong wind in
excess of 40 mph.

IMPACT...Hazardous travel.

Interstate 10 in New Mexico between mile markers 110 and 164.
Interstate 25 in New Mexico between mile markers 1 and 18.
Highway 70 in New Mexico between mile markers 150 and 175.
Highway 54 in New Mexico between mile markers 1 and 35.

Northeast El Paso, Chaparral, Loma Linda, Leasburg, Orogrande, Las
Cruces, Hueco Tanks, Vado, Anthony, Desert Haven, White Sands Missile
Range Headquarters, Radium Springs, NMSU Main Campus, Dona Ana,
Anthony Gap, Berino, Mesilla, San Miguel, Mesquite, and Chamberino.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving
conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in
dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep
your foot off the brake.
