This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

There is a low chance for isolated thunderstorms this afternoon
and evening, mainly along and south of I-80. Severe weather is
not anticipated, but wind gusts up to 30 mph are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Hot weather will persist over much of the area through Monday with
Monday being the hottest day when heat index values will be over
100 degrees in most places.

Additional thunderstorm chances are forecast at times Sunday
night through Monday night with the severe weather risk refined
in the coming days.
