Low afternoon RH values will lead to elevated fire weather
conditions today for areas along and west of US 53 in Minnesota

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Southwest winds of 10 to 20 knots with gusts of 20 to 25 knots
are forecast between Grand Marais and Grand Portage Thursday
night. Waves will build to 2 to 5 feet. Conditions may be
hazardous for smaller vessels.
