.DISCUSSION...

Weather concerns remain minimal during the day today as mild temperatures
and mostly sunny skies dominate. However, a storm system approaching from
the southwest will lead to breezy conditions throughout the afternoon.
Westerly winds at 15 MPH are expected with gusts to 25 MPH possible.
Winds will ease this evening, with winds becoming light and variable
overnight. There is a slight chance of rain/snow showers overnight as
moisture aloft increases from the approaching storm system. Heading into
Thursday, clouds will increase ahead of the system, leading to cooler
high temperatures. Winds will remain relatively light throughout much of
the day at about 5 to 10 MPH, however, winds are expected to shift more
out of the southeast by mid-afternoon. Precipitation will begin to creep
into the area Thursday evening.
