FOR SOUTHEASTERN FAIRFIELD AND WEST CENTRAL KERSHAW COUNTIES...

At 549 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Springdale,
moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

Locations impacted include...
Winnsboro, Fairfield County Airport, Lake Wateree State Park,
Longtown, Ridgeway, Rion, Winnsboro Mills, and Smallwood.

This includes Interstate 77 between mile markers 31 and 44.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Severe thunderstorms can produce large capsizing waves and frequent
