Unseasonably moist pattern continues heading into the weekend. Persistent easterly winds will keep plains moisture in place holding afternoon RH values well above normal, and producing strong recoveries at night. Wet thunderstorms are in the forecast each afternoon and evening through Saturday, with some activity holding on through the overnight hours. Conditions begin to slowly dry out Sunday through the middle of next week as the easterly winds become less consistent and drier westerly winds develop at times, cutting into the afternoon RH values and making afternoon storms drier. That said, no significant fire weather patterns are in the forecast through next week.
