The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Lake Ontario from Sodus Bay to the mouth of the Saint Lawrence
  River and the Saint Lawrence River from Cape Vincent to
  Ogdensburg.

* Until 300 AM EDT.

* At 133 AM EDT, a thunderstorm was located 10 nm north of Sodus
  Bay, moving east at 15 knots. Additional thunderstorms were
  developing over eastern Lake Ontario and moving east or
  northeastward at 15 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and hail up to nickel size.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
           structural damage.

* Locations impacted include...
  Pillar Point, Oswego, Mexico Bay, Southwick Beach, Henderson
  Harbor, Wellesley Island, Westcott Beach, Chaumont Bay, Selkirk
  Beach, Stony Point, Clayton, Fair Haven, Sandy Island Beach, Black
  River Bay, Tibbets Point, Sackets Harbor, North Pond, St. Lawrence
  River, and Cape Vincent.
