.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will stall just south of our area through Friday night.
This will result in lingering chances of showers tonight, followed
by another round of more numerous showers and thunderstorms across
the Southern Tier and portions of the Finger Lakes and North Country
on Friday...where brief torrential downpours will again be possible.
The cold front will then move east of the area late Friday night,
setting up a mainly dry weekend until the next system approaches
late Sunday or Sunday night.
