1037 AM EDT Sat Sep 14 2024

Forecast is based on forecast start time of 1100 EDT on September 14.

Weather Service.

.DISCUSSION...

A reinforcing area of high pressure will build in from the
northeast Saturday, bringing continued dry weather but with
onshore breezes. For Peabody, MA this translates to northeast
winds 10-15 mph Saturday, easing towards sunset and becoming east.

While still dry, we could see low clouds and fog develop Saturday night.
Mostly sunny and dry conditions continue into Sunday, with winds
from the southeast at 10-15 mph for the Peabody area. Above
normal temperatures are expected both weekend days.

Lowest relative humidities are expected to range between 50 to
60 percent today and Sunday.

.OUTLOOK...Monday through Thursday...

High pressure remains anchored over New England through the
middle of next week, which will continue to maintain dry weather
and above normal temperatures. There are some indications for
rainfall around later Wednesday or into Thursday but this is
still not set in stone.
