.DISCUSSION...
Today is expected to have poor smoke dispersal all day long given
mixing heights around 3,000 ft and light winds from near the
surface up to several thousand feet aloft. The best chance of snow
(40%) will be through 10 AM but little to no accumulation is
expected. It will be cloudy and cool this afternoon with highs in
the 40s. Winds should be under 10 mph out of the east-northeast
most of the day. There is a 10-15% chance of a snow shower in the
afternoon, but any snow that falls is expected to be light and not
result in any accumulation.
Saturday likewise will see poor smoke dispersal given continued
light winds and low mixing heights, though it will be dry with
mostly sunny skies.
