.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Friday...
Scattered thunderstorms will move east from the mountains across
the plains through this evening, then skies will clear overnight.
A drying trend starts Friday, with lower storm coverage, somewhat
warmer temperatures, and lower humidity. It will be breezy over
the plains and high mountains and valleys, but critical fire
weather conditions are not forecast.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday night through Tuesday...
The warming and drying trend will continue through early next
week. Humidity values will drop to minimums of 8 to 16% in all
areas but the highest mountains and far eastern plains. Critical
fire weather conditions may develop over the mountains and high
valleys west of the Front Range by Sunday or Monday, and remain in
place into the middle of next week as west/southwest flow aloft
increases somewhat and produces breezy conditions at times.
