Widespread showers will move from the eastern Dakotas across
Minnesota through tonight. A break from daily scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms is expected for most areas on Friday,
with high temperatures in the 70s.

A cold front will bring higher chances for showers and
thunderstorms and windy conditions across the region over the
weekend. A few storms may be strong to severe in eastern North
Dakota, northeast South Dakota, and northwest Minnesota Saturday
afternoon and evening. Sunday will be cooler and windier than
Saturday, with highs only in the 60s and chances for showers
mainly confined to northern and eastern parts of the region.
