.DISCUSSION...
Winds remain largely from the W to SW/WSW thru the rest of the afternoon
and will remain around 15-20mph sustained, gusting 25-35mph; could see
slightly stronger sustained winds due to the Straits, though. Off-and-on
flurries/light snow showers (fine/powdery snow) could persist into the
afternoon with visibilities mostly around 5-6miles but could drop to 2 statute
miles at times, esp in the snow showers and with blowing snow in more open
areas. Air temperatures to remain near +10F today but wind chills remain
around -15F thru afternoon into tonight. Cloud cover...mostly BKN skies
with ceilings around 2000-2500ft. Temps remain stable tonight with increasing
clouds ahead of next system that could bring a little more light snow
late tonight and especially Wednesday; winds remain brisk out of the SW thru
Wednesday morning before becoming W again late.
