For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 1 PM this afternoon to 1 PM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult due to the combination of snow covered roads and reduced visibilities. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The lake effect snow band is expected to continue to weaken and lift north of the area through the rest of tonight. For this afternoon and evening, snowfall rates may reach up to 1 inch per hour at times along the south facing slopes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Be prepared for slippery roads.
