Easterly winds have established over the Central Bering, keeping
near 25 knots this morning and gusting as high as 30 knots by this
afternoon. These stronger winds have made for seas of at least 6
feet early this morning, building to 8 feet this afternoon and 10
feet by tonight. These wave heights are expected to persist as
the wind speeds and direction similarly look to remain steady
through the forecast period. Reduced visibilities and ceilings
from fog/low stratus to be most impactful in the overnight hours
and early morning, with ceilings expected to lift by this
afternoon.
