.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Temperatures through the weekend will be in the upper 60s across
the Southeastern Interior with Tok potentially rising to 70
starting Friday Afternoon.
- A warm front from the Bering Sea will bring rain to the northern
half of Fortymile Country. Most of the rain will be north of
Chicken, so from Chicken to Tok along the Taylor Highway expect
it to remain fairly dry.
- With southerly gap winds lagging behind, minimum RHs in the
Upper Tanana Valley may struggle to get out of the 40s and into
the 30s. As we see increasing cloud cover overnight tonight it
will keep the minimum RH values tomorrow in the low to mid 40s.
- Southerly gap winds through the Alaska Range Passes will
continue through much of Friday. The gap winds in Isabell Pass
could make it to Delta Junction and bring gusts up to 25 mph.
