Strong winds continue to be pushed out by a dry cold front, but wind
gusts up to 30 miles per hour may still be present through the early
evening hours. Behind the front, a high pressure center builds in
and winds weaken. The next chances for rain come this weekend, with
a quarter to half an inch of rain expected along and east of the
James River.

Temperatures tonight will range from the upper 30s and low 40s over
central and north central South Dakota to the mid to upper 40s over
northeastern South Dakota and west central Minnesota. Highs Friday
will be in the mid to upper 60s.
