The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Sandoval County in north central New Mexico...

* Until 515 PM MDT.

* At 435 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of
  Zia Pueblo, or 12 miles north of Bernalillo. This storm was
  stationary.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Zia Pueblo, Santa Ana Pueblo, San Felipe Pueblo, Algodones and
  Ponderosa.

This includes Highway 550 between Mile Markers 10 and 19.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and
ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.
