...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northeast, and west
  central New Mexico, including the following areas, in central New
  Mexico, South Central Mountains. In north central New Mexico, East
  Slopes Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Southern Sangre de Cristo
  Mountains. In northeast New Mexico, Northeast Highlands. In west
  central New Mexico, San Francisco River Valley and Southwest
  Mountains. This includes the Hermits Peak Calf Canyon and Ruidoso
  area burn scars.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Another round of thunderstorms will develop this afternoon
    and continue into the evening hours, moving slowly and
    producing locally heavy rainfall with rates in excess of 2"
    per hour. This heavy rainfall will fall over already
    saturated grounds and is likely to produce dangerous flash
    flooding.
