The National Weather Service in Aberdeen SD has issued a Red Flag
Warning.

* AFFECTED AREA...Portions of central and north central South Dakota.

* TIMING...Until 7 PM CDT /6 PM MDT/ this evening.

* WINDS...West winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Relative Humidity between 18 to 28 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor
  burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning is issued when we identify weather conditions that
promote rapid spread of fire which may become life-threatening. This
does not mean there is a fire. These conditions are either occurring
now or will begin soon. It is important to have multiple ways to
receive information from authorities.

* COUNTIES AFFECTED:

* COLD FRONT: Winds will turn more northerly after sunset tonight,
  as a cold front comes down from the north.

* WIND: Tuesday - West to southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to
  35 mph.

   Wednesday - West to southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25
mph.

 Thursday West to southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* HUMIDITY: Tuesday - Ranging between 11 to 18 percent.

            Wednesday - As low as 8 percent.

            Thursday - As low as 7 percent.
