The National Weather Service in Aberdeen SD has issued a Red Flag
Warning.
* AFFECTED AREA...Portions of central and north central South Dakota.
* TIMING...Until 7 PM CDT /6 PM MDT/ this evening.
* WINDS...West winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Relative Humidity between 18 to 28 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Red Flag Warning is issued when we identify weather conditions that
promote rapid spread of fire which may become life-threatening. This
does not mean there is a fire. These conditions are either occurring
now or will begin soon. It is important to have multiple ways to

as a cold front comes down from the north.

mph.
Thursday West to southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
