...PATCHY FOG LINGERS ACROSS THE BAYS AND NEARSHORE WATERS...
Sea fog is still impacting visibilities mainly over the open
waters this afternoon. Expect that the bays and open waters will
see fog again overnight tonight through tomorrow morning and a
Marine Dense Fog Advisory may be needed but not at this time.
Visibilities will generally be above 1 mile for most locations
with some areas briefly falling below 1 mile at times.

Though visibilities have mostly improved this morning especially
for the northern and central portions of the bays, there are
still some lingering patches of sea fog along the upper Texas
coastal nearshore waters and southern bays...some of which are
intermittently reducing visibilities below 2 nm at times. This
will likely continue through the late morning.
The environment remains favorable for sea fog, and would expect it
to expand in coverage in the nearshore Gulf waters heading into
this evening...then further into the southern and central bays
overnight. Dense Fog Advisories will be possible again.
Mariners are advised to consider these conditions before beginning
or continuing their transits.
