...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM TUESDAY TO 9 AM PST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.

* WHERE...Del Norte and Northern Humboldt Coast.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Tuesday to 9 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles. Wind gusts will be
  particularly strong along windward ridges and exposed coastal
  headlands. There is an increased risk of tree branches and other
  debris on roadways.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

High winds can topple trees which can be deadly. Avoid being under
trees during the highest winds. Postpone travel until lighter winds.

* WHEN...From 2 PM Tuesday to 2 PM PST Wednesday.

  395.

  cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for

...HIGH WIND WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 10 PM PST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Today, south winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
  expected along capes, headlands, and exposed areas. Tuesday night
  into Wednesday morning, south winds 45 to 55 mph with gusts up to
  70 mph.

* WHERE...Capes, Headlands, and exposed areas of Coos and Curry
  counties, including Cape Blanco, Cape Arago, Humbug Mountain,
  Bandon Head, Pistol River, and exposed portions of Highway 101.
  Area expands Tuesday night into Wednesday to all coastal areas of
  Curry County and southern Coos County.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Tuesday to 7 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage trees and
  property and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.
