322 PM ChST Thu Nov 6 2025

...COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON...
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CHST FRIDAY...
...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 11 feet in the surf zone with
dangerous rip currents. Isolated minor coastal flooding.

* WHERE...Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Some water on low lying roads and property. Dangerous
swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip
currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into
  deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As Tropical Storm Fung-wong 32W passes
southwest of Guam, surf conditions are expected to deteriorate
along east facing reefs initially, then south reefs, and
eventually west reefs as 32W strengthens well west of the
Marianas. This, coupled with elevated high tides, may produce
minor beach erosion along these reefs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers
should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.

Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.

914 PM PST Wed Nov 5 2025

...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST
THURSDAY...
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 7 PM PST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Warning, moderate to major coastal
flooding is expected. Inundation of two to three feet above
ground level is possible along shorelines and low lying coastal
areas. For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 20 to
  25 ft are expected.

* WHERE...Northern Washington Coast and Grays Harbor County
  Coast zones.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Warning, until 10 PM PST
Thursday. For the High Surf Advisory, from 4 AM to 7 PM PST
  Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Significant coastal flooding due to high tides and
storm surge is expected. This is expected to lead to numerous
road closures. Low lying property including homes, businesses,
and some critical infrastructure may be inundated. Shoreline
erosion or damage may occur. Strong surf can knock people off
their feet, move driftwood and debris causing injury, and
cause localized beach and coastal erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is high confidence in the water
levels reaching moderate to major flood inundations coincident
with the midday high tides, particularly in Westport and La
Push. Wave activity is expected to peak on Thursday,
potentially resulting in more impacts than the high tide on
  Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

Inundation above ground level refers to the height above the Mean
Higher High Water (MHHW) level.

Never turn your back on the ocean and keep children and pets
close. Know the tides and surf forecast. Follow warning signs and
respect barriers.

* IMPACTS...For the High Surf Advisory, there is an increased
risk for ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and

wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats
near shore. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, flooding of sea
water is likely, around the time of high tide, over vulnerable
low- lying coastal areas such as parking lots, beaches, and
walkways. Significant damage to roads or structures is
  unlikely.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tide around 7 feet (MLLW) is
expected to occur between 7am and 11am. There is a high risk

...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM HST THURSDAY FOR
EXPOSED NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES...
...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING DURING HIGH TIDE THIS WEEK FOR LOW
LYING COASTAL AREAS OF ALL ISLANDS...

.A medium to large north-northwest medium period swell will
continue to move across the Hawaiian Islands through Thursday
increasing surf heights to near advisory thresholds along exposed
north and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai,
including north facing shores of Maui and the Big Island. Surf
heights will likely fall below advisory thresholds by Thursday
night as the swell energy decreases.

Peak monthly high tides combined with water levels that are
running higher than predicted will lead to minor flooding along
the shoreline and in low-lying coastal areas. Coastal flooding is
possible around the daily peak tide, which will be during the
early morning hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid driving through flooded roadways. If you are forced to
drive through salt water, be sure to rinse your vehicle with
fresh water. Move electronics, vehicles or other valuables to
higher ground. Monitor vessels to ensure mooring lines don`t get

PST THURSDAY...
...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY HAS EXPIRED...

* WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, large waves and hazardous
surf conditions. Breakers up to 25-30 feet. For the Coastal
Flood Advisory, tidal overflow flooding expected.

* WHERE...Clatsop and Tillamook Coast, and South Washington
  Coast.

* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, from 4 AM to 7 PM PST
Thursday. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 10 AM to 3 PM
  PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding, up to one foot above ground level,
during high tides is expected in the low lying areas near bays,
sloughs, and the lower reaches of the coastal rivers.
Destructive waves may wash over beaches, jetties, and other
structures unexpectedly. People can be swept off rocks and
jetties and drown while observing high surf. Minor beach erosion
may damage coastal properties and buildings. Higher than normal
water run-up is expected on beaches and low-lying shoreline.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Sneaker waves are also possible due to high
waves and long period energetic periods. Caution should be used
when in or near the water. Always keep an eye on the waves, and
be especially watchful of children and pets.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Coastal Flood Advisory means that tidal overflow flooding is
expected. Coastal residents in the warned area should be alert
for rising water, and take appropriate action to protect life and
property.

A High Surf Advisory means that high surf will affect beaches,
producing rip currents, sneaker waves and beach erosion. Stay
well back from the water`s edge and be alert for exceptionally
high waves.

Keep away from large logs on the beach. Water running up on the
beach can easily lift or roll logs which can injure or kill
someone caught in their path.
