...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM PDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.

* WHERE...Mojave Desert Slopes.

* WHEN...Until 2 AM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highways impacted include, but are not
  limited to SRs 14, 58, and 178, as well as U.S. 395.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.

...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH MONDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...For the High Wind Warning, southwest winds 35 to 45 mph
  with gusts up to 65 mph expected. For the High Wind Watch, west
  winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible.

* WHERE...Guadalupe Mountains of west Texas and Southeast New Mexico.

* WHEN...For the High Wind Warning, from 11 AM MDT /noon CDT/ to 9
  PM MDT /10 PM CDT/ Sunday. For the High Wind Watch, from Monday
  morning through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile
  vehicles like campers, vans, and tractor trailers. Aviation
  interests may experience localized but extreme turbulence, or
  strong downward airflows if flying in the near the Guadalupe
  Mountains.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.

Use caution if flying low near the mountains as severe turbulence is
possible.
