...STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM WEDNESDAY TO 1 AM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, southwest gales to 35 knots and
  waves 6 to 9 feet expected. For the Storm Warning, west gales to
  40 knots increasing to storm force winds to 50 knots and waves
  14 to 20 feet expected.

* WHERE...St Joseph to Manistee.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, from 1 AM to 7 AM EST Wednesday.
  For the Storm Warning, from 7 AM Wednesday to 1 AM EST
  Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Storm force winds and hazardous waves will capsize
  or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Deep low pressure will move through the
  Great Lakes region from Wednesday into Thursday. Strong winds
  are expected beginning late tonight as southwest gales develop.
  Winds will increase on Wednesday to storm force to 50 knots.
  Storm force winds will continue into Wednesday evening and
  Wednesday night. Waves will build into the 14 to 20 foot range
  in all areas.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
