...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM AST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Ciales, Jayuya and Utuado.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM AST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over
  roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 400 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Jayuya, Utuado, Ciales and Cayuco.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of western Texas, including the following
  county, El Paso.

* WHEN...Until 345 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 149 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Up to 0.75 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall of up to 1 inch is expected over the
    area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    West El Paso and Franklin Mountains State Park.

  The old road is flooded and water levels are near new road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1142 AM AKDT, the public has reported minor flooding in
    Kobuk Saturday morning. Another wave of rain is expected with
    1 to 2 inches forecast between Saturday evening and Tuesday
    morning. River levels may rise again Tuesday afternoon into
    Wednesday.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and north central Texas, including the
  following counties, in central Texas, Henderson. In north central
  Texas, Van Zandt.

* WHEN...Until 500 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow moving
    thunderstorms across Van Zandt and Henderson Counties. Radar
    estimates between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen today.
    Some roads along with low lying and/or poor drainage areas
    will experience minor flooding in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Athens, Gun Barrel City, Canton, Wills Point, Grand Saline,
    Mabank, Chandler, Van, Malakoff, Edgewood, Brownsboro,
    Eustace, Berryville, Trinidad, Fruitvale, Edom, Caney City,
    Purtis Creek State Park, Forest Grove Reservoir and Cedar
    Creek Reservoir.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Kroto Creek and other small streams near Petersville Road
  in the Susitna Valley.

* WHEN...Until 1145 AM AKDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become
  impassable. Significant runoff may cause flooding of creeks and
  rivers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1105 AM AKDT, trained weather spotters reported flooding
    from the recent heavy rain. This is occurring from overflow
    of poor drainage areas, especially near Kroto Creek and other
    small streams near and along the Petersville Road. Parts of
    the road may be impassible through Sunday morning. Given the
    magnitude of recent rains, area streams and rivers have been
    slow to drain.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    mainly rural areas of Western Susitna Valley and Central
    Susitna Valley zones

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Cimarron River near Waynoka.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Bankfull conditions exist along the river...
   and some overflows may occur over some low-lying areas near the
  river. The river reach affected extends from near Freedom
  upstream... to the U.S. Highway 281 crossing south of Little
  Sahara State Park near Waynoka... to near Orienta in Major County.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 7.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The Cimarron River is expected to rise to a crest
    of 7.8 feet Monday morning.
  - Action stage is 7.5 feet.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
