* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A significant winter storm will move across

combination with falling snow will lead to blizzard conditions,
especially across Nunivak Island. The worst conditions will likely
occur after midnight Friday morning. Visibility reductions to
one-half mile are expected with brief periods to one-quarter mile
for Toksook Bay to Kipnuk as winds accelerate through Etolin
Strait. Snow showers and gusty winds are expected to persist
through the weekend, though intensity should decrease Friday night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel very hazardous. If you must travel, have a
winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your
vehicle.
