...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM PDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR RIVERSIDE COUNTY...

At 433 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have
fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 inches in 1 hour.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Anza, Hwy 74 Between Mountain Center And Anza and Lake Hemet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

* Until 700 PM PDT.

* At 430 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding, debris flows, and
           landslides.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
           Significant debris flows and landslides.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  mainly rural areas of Eastern Los Angeles County including
  Southwestern portions of the Bridge Burn Scar.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Warning for a recent burn area means that flooding and
debris flows are imminent or occurring. Residents living in or
immediately downstream should take immediate precautions to protect
life and property. Follow instructions from emergency management and
law enforcement on actions to take.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

  rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.75 to 1.25
  inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Arroyos, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a

At 333 PM PDT, The earlier strong storm has subsided and moved out
of the warned area, however additional storm development is still
expected shortly.

Rainfall rates of 0.5 to 1 inch per hour, and life-threatening flash
flooding, debris flows, and landslides are ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding, debris flows, and
         landslides.
