Dakota.

Patchy fog near the North Dakota border will quickly burn off
early this morning.
Elevated fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon due
to dry air and gusty southerly winds at times east of the Black
Hills.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Elevated fire weather conditions are expected Tuesday through
Thursday as dry weather combines with unseasonably warm
temperatures.

Breezy southerly winds this afternoon with gusts 20 to 30 mph west
of Interstate 29. Low humidity values and well above average
temperatures could lead to elevated fire concerns today.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Breezy southerly winds remain through mid week with afternoon gusts
20 to 30 mph, strongest west of Interstate 29. The gusty winds and
low afternoon humidity levels could result in locally elevated fire
weather concerns, especially where drier grasses are located or fall
harvest activities have started.

There is a 10 to 20% chance for afternoon and evening
showers and thunderstorms across western portions of the forecast
area. Wind gusts up to 40 mph will be the main threat. There is a
10% chance for locally heavy rain with the stronger storms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Tuesday...Showers and thunderstorms will be possible over western
portions in the afternoon, spreading east of the Divide late in the
afternoon into the evening. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and locally heavy
rain will again be possible with the stronger storms.
Friday and Saturday...Chances for widespread precipitation and high
elevation snow increase Friday and Saturday.
