This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western South
Dakota and northeastern Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Numerous showers and isolated to scattered thunderstorms are
expected today, especially this afternoon and evening. The
strongest storms with some hail and gusty winds will occur near
the South Dakota and Nebraska border.

Northerly winds will gust to 30 to 45 mph on the western South
Dakota plains today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Isolated thunderstorms may occur Wednesday, but severe
thunderstorms are not expected.

There is a 20 to 30 percent chance of thunderstorms through the
day today. Severe weather is not expected, but a stronger storm or
two could produce gusty winds and small hail.

Could see a brief return of Canadian wildfire smoke behind the cold
frontal tonight. Minor deterioration in visibility and air quality
will be possible during the late evening to overnight hours mainly
across portions of southeastern SD.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a slight (level 2 of 5) risk of severe thunderstorms
this afternoon and tonight across much of north central Nebraska.
The main threats will be large hail, damaging winds, and heavy
rainfall.

Heavy rainfall through early Tuesday morning will result in over 2.5
inches of rainfall. Some localized flash flooding may occur in small
streams, low-lying areas, and area roadways.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Near daily thunderstorms are expected into the weekend as several
disturbances impact the area. The severe risk is uncertain at this
time.

There is a marginal risk of severe weather (level 1 out of 5) of
severe weather mainly east of a line from Kennebec to Miller and
Aberdeen. The strongest storms mainly over far eastern South Dakota
will be capable of producing hail up to one inch in diameter and
wind gusts up to 60 mph.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of panhandle
Nebraska...east central Wyoming...south central Wyoming and
southeast Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

A passing weather disturbance and relatively strong cold front for
early June will move across the forecast area on Monday, producing
widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms Monday afternoon
and night. Some of the thunderstorms south of a Cheyenne to Chadron
line may become severe Monday afternoon and evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

Cooler and wetter weather will prevail for Tuesday and Wednesday
before a warming trend develops for Thursday through Saturday,
with chances for late day showers and thunderstorms each day.
