...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 11 PM MST SUNDAY...
* WHAT...A strong weather disturbance along the West Coast will get
re-inforced by a decaying tropical system this weekend resulting in
strong sustained south to southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts
45-55 mph. The strongest wind gusts will occur near showers and
thunderstorms.
* WHERE...South Central Pinal County, Tohono O`odham Nation, and
Western Pima County.
* WHEN...From 2 AM to 11 PM MST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

limbs could snap resulting in a few power outages. Travel will be
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong upper-level trough along with the
remnants of Tropical Storm Rachel will create a synoptic pattern
supportive of strong gusts across northern Arizona, especially
along the higher terrain.
