This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Kansas, east central
Kansas, north central Kansas and northeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.
There may be a few thunderstorms late Tonight across east central KS.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Severe weather potential increases during the afternoon and evening
hours Sunday. Large hail and heavy rain will be the main threats,
with some tornado potential particularly in far southern/western
portions of the area.
Another round of severe weather potential comes
Monday afternoon and evening. Large hail and damaging winds will be the
main threat, though a few tornadoes will also be possible.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
Storms are expected to develop this evening across southern Kansas
and track off the northeast. Hail up to half dollar size will be
possible with the stronger storms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
Storms are expected to develop Sunday afternoon into the evening
hours across much of the area and on Monday afternoon and evening
for locations along and east of I-135. The stronger storms both
Sunday and Monday will be capable of producing large hail, damaging
winds and tornadoes.
A few storms could linger into Tuesday over mainly eastern Kansas,
but severe weather is not expected.

Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.
.DAY ONE...Tonight and Sunday
Severe weather potential returns Sunday evening into the
overnight period (15-30% chance), especially in southeast NE and
southwest IA. Hail will be the primary hazard, though strong winds
and brief tornado will be possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday night through Saturday
Showers and thunderstorms are possible through Wednesday. There
is currently a 15-30% chance of severe weather Monday, especially
in portions of southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa. Damaging
winds, hail, flooding, and tornadoes are all possible.

Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Slight hail risk.
Slight thunderstorm wind damage risk.
Limited lightning risk.
Limited excessive rainfall risk
DISCUSSION...
There is a 50 to 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms
to move in from the southwest after 7 PM tonight. There is a
Marginal (1 of 5) and Slight (2 of 5) Risk along and south of a
Nevada to Eminence line. Within this risk area, there is a 5 to 29
percent chance for some storms to produce wind gusts up to 60 mph
and quarter-sized hail.
Relative humidities this afternoon are also forecast to drop to
the 30-35% range, with a chance for areas to drop to 25%. This
may bring a fire weather risk, though light winds and recent
rainfall should keep the risk pretty low.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Additional rounds of thunderstorms are possible Sunday night
through Tuesday. Some of these storms may be strong to severe.
The best chance for severe weather will be Sunday night and
Monday night. Additionally, there is the potential for localized
heavy rainfall and flooding with this activity.
