- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 30.4 feet early
tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
Saturday evening.

record.
* WHERE...Solomon River at Minneapolis.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Intersection of the Mulberry Road and 80th
Road floods.
At 26.0 feet, The river just west of the Highway 106 bridge floods.
At 31.0 feet, Markley Grove Park floods.
At 32.0 feet, Baseball field in Ottawa County fairgrounds floods.
At 32.7 feet, Flood waters enter first floor of second home south
of the river on the east side of Highway 106.
At 33.0 feet, Water rises to base of the County Road 106 bridge in
Minneapolis.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 3.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 32.1 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

At 21.0 feet, Flood waters are over one half mile wide over
cultivated farm land 3 miles east southeast of the town of Ada.

portion of a cultivated field on the right bank, upstream,
adjacent to the gage site.
At 23.0 feet, Rural overflow begins around the community of Niles.
At 24.0 feet, Low land flooding continues along the river.
At 27.0 feet, Arrowhead Road west of Niles floods.

- At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 29.4 feet Saturday morning. It

Osborne County in north central Kansas...
* WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1121 AM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the
warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 5
inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
East Kill Creek, Oak Creek, Walnut Creek, Solomon River, Covert
Creek, East Twin Creek, Lawrence Creek, South Fork Solomon River,
Indian Creek, North Fork Solomon River, Paradise Creek, Medicine
Creek, Joy Creek, Twelvemile Creek, Kill Creek, Granite Creek,
Lindley Creek, Glen Elder Reservoir Area, Carr Creek, Mill Creek,
Center Twin Creek, Wolf Creek, Eagle Creek, Twin Creek, Little
Oak Creek and Salt Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2
inches are possible in the warned area.
