The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Gila County in east central Arizona...
  Navajo County in north central Arizona...

* Until 1045 PM MST.

* At 743 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.25 inches of
  rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1.25 inches
  in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.75 to 1.5 inches are
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
           flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
           underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Chediski Peak, Grasshopper Butte, Cibeque Falls, Brushy Top
  Mountain, Chediski Mountain and Cibecue.

This includes the following swimming holes...
Cibeque Falls.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
  Canyon Creek, C One Wash, Bear Creek, Phoenix Park Wash, Salt
  Creek, Day School Wash, Cibecue Creek, V Eighteen Wash, Carrizo
  Creek, Foot Canyon, Spring Creek and Oak Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become
muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become
flooded as well.

FOR NAVAJO COUNTY...

At 728 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1.25 and 2.5 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
         underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Taylor, Clay Springs and Snowflake.

This includes the following highways...
State Route 260 between mile markers 318 and 324. State Route 277
between mile markers 317 and 336. State Route 77 between mile markers
361 and 362.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
  Cottonwood Wash, Stinson Wash, Canal, The, Dodson Wash, Willow
  Wash, Decker Wash, Day Wash and Silver Creek.

THE DRAGON BRAVO FIRE SCAR REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM MST /930 PM
MDT/ THIS EVENING FOR COCONINO COUNTY...

At 703 PM MST /803 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms
producing heavy rain over the North Canyon Wash Basin downstream of
the Dragon Bravo Fire scar. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding in and around the North Canyon Wash Basin
         downstream of the Dragon Bravo Fire scar.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
         North Canyon Wash Basin downstream of the Dragon Bravo Fire
         scar.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Saddle Mountain Wilderness, Bert Loper`s Boat, Royal Arches, Triple
  Alcoves, Point Hansbrough, Anasazi Foot Bridge and North Rim
  Entrance Station.

This includes the following highways...
State Route 67 between mile markers 609 and 610. the Colorado River
between river miles 17 and 21...and near river mile 32...and between
river miles 37 and 43...and between river miles 45 and 47.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
House Rock Camp Site, 18 Mile Wash Camp Site, 18 Mile Ledges Camp
Site, Upper North Canyon Camp Site, Lower North Canyon Camp Site,
South Canyon Camp Site, Tatahatso Wash Camp Site, Tatahatso Camp
Site, Above Martha`s Camp Site, Martha`s Camp Site, Redbud Alcove
Camp Site, MCD Site Camp Site, Upper Buck Farm Camp Site, Buck Farm
Camp Site, Below Buck Farm Camp Site, Loper`s Boat Camp Site, Royal
Arches Camp Site, Anasazi Bridge Camp Site, Above Willie Taylor Camp

  Canyon", "18- Mile Wash", "Bert`s Canyon", Hanaa Ninadzidzahi,
  Colorado River, North Canyon and Buck Farm Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flash flooding is occurring or imminent downstream of the Dragon
Bravo Fire scar. Severe debris flow are expected across roads and in
remote canyon drainages on the Kaibab Plateau east of State Route 67.
Campers and hikers should get away from creeks and move to higher
ground immediately! Stay away or be swept away!

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
