400 AM AST Sat Nov 22 2025
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone, particularly along north- and east-facing beaches of
northern Puerto Rico and Culebra. Isolated stronger rip currents
may also occur elsewhere, especially near piers, jetties, and
channels.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
Quiet conditions will prevail through Monday, with no hazards
expected. Winds will begin to increase Monday night, and by
Tuesday an incoming northeasterly swell will combine with
strengthening winds to create confused seas, a return to moderate
rip current risk, and growing small-craft concerns. Marine and
coastal hazards are expected to peak midweek, as stronger winds
and higher seas bring a moderate rip current risk to all local
beaches, hazardous marine conditions, and a limited non-
thunderstorm wind threat across exposed land areas.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed.
