This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible across
northwestern section of Puerto Rico with the heaviest activity.
Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take
shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals
sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling
and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health
systems and in heat-sensitive industries.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone particularly across northern exposed beaches of Puerto
Rico.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

An upcoming tropical wave will kept elevated the flood and
lightning threat for most of the period. Similar for the heat
threat with periods of warmer temperatures and high values of
moisture enhancing heat indices just into the value threshold.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.

surf zone particularly in the eastern tip of St. Croix.
