...ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE
COASTAL WATERS THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH AT LEAST THURSDAY
EVENING...

An upper-level low pressure system will bring the risk for
isolated to scattered thunderstorms across the coastal waters,
especially this afternoon through at least this evening.
There is a non-zero chance that thunderstorms may linger into
Friday morning for areas south of Point Conception.

Any thunderstorm that forms will be capable of producing locally
gusty and erratic winds, rough seas, dangerous cloud to surface
lightning, heavy rainfall with reduced visibility, and
waterspouts.

Mariners should seek safe harbor when thunderstorms are imminent.
Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or your favorite marine weather
source for the latest details.
