...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Snow is likely. Total snow accumulations between 6 to 12
inches are expected along the Cascade crest and highest points of
Highway 20.
* WHERE...Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit Counties.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM PST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact travelers along Highway 20 from Wednesday evening
through Thursday morning, as well as Thursday night.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Higher snowfall amounts are likely in and
around Mount Baker between 8 to 10 inches through Thursday morning.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible
power outages.

ABOVE 4000 FEET...
* WHAT...Snow Above 4000 feet. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to
6 inches Wednesday and then an additional 7 to 15 inches Wednesday
night through Friday morning. Highest amounts near the crest and
Washington Pass.
* WHERE...Western Okanogan County County.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM PST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Winter travel conditions along Highway 20 over
Washington Pass.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow is expected Wednesday through
Thursday. Periods of higher snow intensities are expected
Wednesday night and Thursday night with rates near one inch per
hour. Heaviest snow is expected Thursday evening.
