...Light Snow Expected Across the Higher Elevations of the
Mountains Friday...

Snowfall accumulations are possible across elevations of 2500
feet or higher on Friday. Total accumulations are expected to be
between a dusting and 2 inches, with the possibility of over 3
inches being confined to highest peaks.

Any accumulations of snow or other wintry precipitation are
expected to be light. However, driving and walking may be
difficult on some untreated roadways and paths across the higher
elevations of the mountains. Be prepared for slippery roads and
limited visibilities across the higher terrain. If traveling
through the mountains, slow down and allow extra time to reach
your destination.

...Light snow expected to impact the Friday morning commute...

A brief round of light to moderate snow will impact the area
Friday morning, generally lasting 1 to 3 hours for most areas.
Accumulations will generally be one-half inch or less, with
localized higher accumulations to 1 inch. While elevated and
grassy surfaces are most likely to be impacted, a few locations
may see brief slushy conditions on roads.

Snow will taper off to light snow showers or flurries by midday,
and possibly linger into the evening before completely ending.
