southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West
Virginia.

Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms capable of producing
damaging wind gusts are possible today, especially this afternoon.
An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out, and hail may also be
possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms capable of producing
damaging wind gusts are possible this afternoon. A tornado or two
is also possible. A Tornado Watch is in effect until 7 PM along
and west of the Blue Ridge and Catoctin Mountains.
A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM this evening across
all areas. Elsewhere, gusty winds to around 45 mph are possible
outside of thunderstorms today, which may result in a few downed
trees, branches, and power lines.
