THURSDAY AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Ohio, including the following
counties, Athens, Meigs, Morgan, Perry, Vinton and Washington and
West Virginia, including the following counties, Doddridge,
Harrison, Pleasants, Ritchie, Taylor, Tyler and Wood.
* WHEN...From 4 PM EDT this afternoon through Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional rounds of thunderstorms with heavy downpours are
anticipated, particularly later tonight and early Thursday.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana, including the following
counties, Fayette, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the
following counties, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Delaware,
Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking,
Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Shelby
and Union.
* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Repeated rounds of storms, combined with the extremely wet soil
conditions will increase the risk for flash flooding into the
overnight hours.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding occur
or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas and be
careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.
