Warm temperatures will bring high elevation snowmelt and rising
water levels on area creek and streams.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Sunday...Above normal temperatures allow for mountain snowmelt
and rising water levels on creeks and streams.
Strong thunderstorms possible in northwestern Wyoming Sunday
afternoon.
Monday and Tuesday...A transition to a cooler and wetter pattern,
with snow possible in the higher elevations. Details on
precipitation amounts remain uncertain.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of panhandle
Nebraska and southeast Wyoming.

Warmer temperatures and drier conditions will persist through the
weekend.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
Tropical moisture will move into the area for Monday as a strong
Pacific cold front moves southeast into Wyoming. This will set the
stage for moderate to heavy rainfall and strong thunderstorms Monday
afternoon through Monday night. Cooler and wetter weather will prevail
for Tuesday and Wednesday before a warming trend develops for Thursday
through Saturday. Chances for late day showers and thunderstorms
will continue each day.

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon
across the higher elevations. Lightning and wind gusts up to 40
mph will be the main threat, but brief heavy rain and small hail
are also possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
Scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms are
expected over the mountains again on Sunday, with just a slight
chance of storms on the plains. The threat of severe weather will
remain low. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 80s
across most of the plains.
A weather system is expected to bring rain late Monday
into Tuesday, with snow limited to areas above 10 thousand feet.
The rain combined with snowmelt will cause elevated levels on
mountain streams. Cooler weather with scattered showers is
expected for Wednesday and Thursday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms will develop over the
higher terrain today, mostly along the Divide. The primary threats
from these storms will be lightning, and gusty outflow winds 40 to 50
mph. Showers quickly diminish early this evening with quiet
conditions returning overnight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms continue Sunday over
the higher terrain along the Divide. Gusty winds, lightning, and
small hail can be expected with these storms. Remnants of Tropical
Storm Alvin moves up into the region Monday through midweek bringing
widespread showers, scattered thunderstorms and a possible threat of
localized flash flooding in areas prone to heavy runoff.
