FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow. Snow
  accumulations between 1 to 2 feet above 7000 feet and up to 6
  inches below 7000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 110 mph along the
  Sierra crest and 35 to 45 mph in lower valleys. Winds over Lake
  Tahoe 25 to 30 mph gusting 35 to 40 mph with waves 2 to 4 feet.
  For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow. Snow accumulations 10 to
  18 inches below 7000 feet and 2 to 3 feet above 7000 feet. Winds
  gusting as high as 95 mph along the highest peaks and up to 45 mph
  in lower valleys.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 4 AM PST Wednesday. For
  the Winter Storm Watch, from Thursday morning through Friday
  morning.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday evening and
  Wednesday morning commutes. Very strong winds could cause
  extensive damage to trees and power lines.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for

  to 3 inches across the White Mountains, and up to 6 inches below
  8000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 95 mph along the highest peaks
  and up to 65 mph near wind prone areas along Hwy 395. For the
  Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow. Snow accumulations 2 to 6 inches
  below 8000 feet and 1 to 2 feet above 8000 feet. Winds gusting as
  high as 90 mph along the Sierra crest and up to 65 along the White
  Mountains.

* WHERE...Mono County.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 10 AM PST Wednesday.
  For the Winter Storm Watch, from Thursday morning through Friday
  morning.

  gusting 30 to 40 mph. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow. Snow
  accumulations 2 to 8 inches below 5500 feet and 12 to 24 inches
  above 5500 feet.

* WHERE...Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 10 PM PST this evening.
  For the Winter Storm Watch, from Thursday morning through Friday
  morning.
