...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Virginia, including the following areas,
  Alleghany VA, Amherst, Bath, Bedford, Botetourt, Craig, Floyd,
  Franklin, Giles, Montgomery, Patrick, Roanoke and Rockbridge and
  southeast West Virginia, including the following areas, Eastern
  Greenbrier, Monroe, Summers and Western Greenbrier.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Locally heavy rainfall is possible, leading to the potential
    for flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
