...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN DOLORES...WEST
CENTRAL SAN MIGUEL AND EAST CENTRAL SAN JUAN COUNTIES THROUGH 200 PM
MDT...

At 128 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Eastland, or 12 miles southeast of Monticello, moving northeast at
35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dove Creek, Eastland, Ucolo, and Egnar.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 491 in Colorado between mile markers 61 and 69.
 U.S. Highway 491 in Utah between mile markers 3 and 17.
 Colorado 141 between mile markers 1 and 12.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
